1984 Corvette - Problem with Brake Lights - Adjustment?
When I step on the brake peddle the lights don't go on unless I am all the way to the floor. Is there an adjustment I can do so that they will go on more easily? Haven't found an answer to this one online anywhere, I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

90 corvette problems?
I just bought a 90 corvette from my dad! it has just had a major tune up and all kinds of replacement parts, including a fuel pump... lately it's been sputtering when at idle with the oil pressure needle fluctuating at the same time, and yesterday it stalled completely at a turn signal... does anyone have any knowledge about this? or experience? I"m going to get a diagnostic... but I am worried I'll be ripped off, mechanics are obviously known for such short comings! any help would be great...! thanks

84 corvette problem.?
i just did a tune up on it spark plugs, wires, oil change and oil filter, roder, and distributor cap. but when i took it out for a spin, it still ran real ruff, you couldnt push the pedal all the way down because it wouldn't do nothing but bog and almost die, but then realize that the pedal was to the floor and speed up and bog at the same time. Replaced the fuel filter and the air filter, seemed to help alot, but it still rides real ruff and still bogs and putts, and sometimes it will just want to stall if your not trying to give it gas. im thinking it is maybe the fuel pump, or the MAP sensor, or a carberater problem. (the fuel injectors are still good) it all acted up on me when i put gas in it the one day then it just wanted to act up on me, yes i used the right gas but i thought maybe i got a load of bad gas. Note.(my grandpa put some STP fuel injector cleaner in their but it didn't have no were near a full tank like recommended and it sat for awhile think that could be a cause to?) battery is bran new alternator is new, timing chain and pullyes and water pump is new, belts new, tires new and tranny new fuel filter air filter, tune up. have any ideas? "There is no carburetor on the engine. It has twin throttle body injection" Yes you are right my mistake i forgot to mention that. Yes everything is installed correctly. and gaped correctly. I will try and drain the gas and start with a new tank their is a new fuel filter in place now the old one had a lot of varnish in it. We will see how she runs after that. I still think maybe its the map sensor since it wants to higher and lower its rpms. and sometimes lower to 4 and just stall. it never had this before until that STP and The gas station over here is rated for giving bad loads of gas. my aunt got a bad load of gas in here durango 08. stupid marathon. just filled up the tank half way still runs bad. Im going to check the fuel regulator. a website to show you how to do it and what to use would be nice. i know how to do it a little bit though. keep them answers commin! ill keep you posted! well i didnt check the fuel regulator .. some chevy guy stopped by and he said it he thought it was the oxygen sensor or the map sensor he was more than positive....what do you guys think? ok...MAP sensor and oxygen sensor changed.. reset the battery with the negative cable off for 20 minutes.. still runs ruff, but i noticed. when i changed the map sensor the vacuum line was cracked and corroded. My grandpa thinks that its maybe a vacuum line he says theres alot of them and they could all be bad or just like the one by the map sensor however it did run alot better i thought but the problem still exists. any answers???? when reved sounds like a blow off valve... either air is escaping or just its getting air.. still when reved high just wants to die afterwards.. couple of chevy guys think its a head crack, or manifold problem..

Yes i did Gap them correctly and everything is put on correctly. their is a small vacuum leak, leak on the hose but i can replace that easily for 3$. my mistake There is no carburetor on the engine. It has twin throttle body injection. Yes it does sound like the timing is off.. and i thought it would be a sensor because the gauges want to lower and higher themselves on rpms. still rides ruff any more ideas i will try to and drain the gas i just replaced the fuel filter the old one had alot of varnish in it. ill start with a new tank of gas and see how she runs. no it did not run like this before the tune up. but it sure needed it!. it had over heating problems before the tune up. but i fixed that problem flushed the coolant it was old. and it was the thermostat. but i think it was that fuckign STP with a bad load of gas. keep commin with the answers i will try and do what i said ASAP it is drive-able, just sometimes will stall at stops, but you have to keep on giving it gas, im going now to get new gas for it filled up to about 1/2 a tank still runs ruff and does the same stuff, im goign to check the fuel regulator can any one give me a direct link on how to do it. and what to use? a psi gauge? and i ruffly now how to do it a little bit, some help would be nice though. Also keep them answer commin ill keep you posted. ok...MAP sensor and oxygen sensor changed.. reset the battery with the negative cable off for 20 minutes.. still runs ruff, but i noticed. when i changed the map sensor the vacuum line was cracked and corroded.
